The Opportunity: A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Commercial Officer to join an established business unit based in Lincoln. Key Responsibilities: Reporting into the Deputy Director, you will be responsible for leading the management of Contracts, Subcontracts and emerging tasking to ensure commercial and financial interests of the company are fully optimized. Ensuring that all Contract and Subcontract obligations are fulfilled, you will be working closely with MoD customers throughout the customer acquisition process. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of certain personnel, whilst providing training, coaching and continuous development to staff. Other duties within this role will include, but are not limited to: - Management of procurement, maintenance of allocated Contracts- Maintaining key relationships with the customer and commercial organizations- Ensuring all contract obligations are fulfilled during the performance period- Provision of commercial support to finance business unit where required Key Requirements: You will have extensive experience of Contract/Subcontract or Procurement administration within an MoD environment. Ideally, you will also have experience working closely with MoD customers where you will have developed proficient skills in specific areas such as DEFCON and DEFSTAN. Any formal contracting and/or procurement-based qualifications would be looked favorably upon, although they are non-essential.
