My Client operates at the forefront of systems, product and solutions innovation and is seen as a leading global security company. Delivering high-end capability in areas including cyber security, C4ISR and unmanned systems, my client provides technology driven solutions to government and commercial customers throughout the world. The Opportunity: Due to recently securing a large-scale, complex engineering programme based in the South West, my client are looking for an established and capable Systems Engineer to join their Cyber Solutions division. Working as part of an integral team to deliver a range of software and systems engineering applications, you will be given the ability to demonstrate and develop your in-depth systems engineering knowledge on a cutting-edge programme working closely with an interesting customer. Key Responsibilities: As an experienced Systems Engineer, you will be tasked with delivering your expertise in areas including systems integration, verification and validation, effectiveness analysis and system supportability on a range of programmes. You will be involved throughout the Systems Engineering lifecycle from concept and design, through fabrication and test to operation and maintenance. Working closely with the customer, you will also have the chance to convert product requirements into systems solutions. This will see you addressing areas such as scheduling, technical analysis, cost constraints, functional analysis and requirements allocation where you will be translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Key Requirements: Given the nature of your previous roles, you will be able to demonstrate a strong level of systems engineering knowledge and the ability to work as part of a team and within a customer focused role.Knowledge of the following areas are also essential:- Agile methodologies / processes- Excellent communication skills- Understanding of the full system development lifecycle and SE processes- Familiar with SE tools and frameworks (MODAF, TOGAF, DODAF) Experience of working on cyber applications would offer a distinct advantage, as would any professional accreditations/ certifications (INCOSE, CEng), however, these are not considered to be essential. All applicants must be able to hold and maintain UK Government clearances.
