The Opportunity:

Our client is a leading global Advanced Crime Analytics and Risk Management specialist, providing crime fighting software used in investigations and intelligence operations by government agencies and financial institutions. The solutions they provide help solve and prevent crime, defend against advanced persistent cyber threats and counter terrorism.

Due to continued growth and success, our client are looking to take on an experienced Solutions Consultant to join either their Law Enforcement/Government or Financial Services within our EMEA Professional Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data analytics professional to provide software application consultancy, primarily to customers and secondarily to the Sales and Marketing teams.

Our client offer excellent on-site training as well as having active career path planning. allowing their staff to develop and progress further.

Due to the nature of the work our client is involved in, SC security clearance must be obtainable
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in pre-sales business evaluations, demonstrations and tenders.
  • Liaising with client organisations regarding provision of professional services within negotiated contractual obligations for a program or group of projects.
  • Providing software application consultancy including gap-fit analysis, use case creation, configuration, end user training, user specific documentation and presales demonstration support.
  • Establishing and documenting best practice processes for consultancy and training
  • On large implementations may lead a team of consultants
  • Ensuring that the Customer/Account is achieving maximum satisfaction and productivity from their systems
  • Work closely with internal parties to effectively deliver consulting services to our customers
  • Due to the nature of the work our client is involved in, SC security clearance must be obtainable

Essential Attributes:

  • Experience in data analytics, social network analysis, ETL tools and data modelling
  • Domain knowledge: Intelligence functions in the Government and Law Enforcement domain; or fraud analytics in the Financial Services domain.  Knowledge of Investigations function will be an added advantage.
  • Business requirements analysis and project management
  • Experience in applying the above skills and domain knowledge into customer applicable software solutions
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree
  • Professional certification on data analytics is advantageous
  • Experience of statistical modelling tools and packages (eg SAS, R) will be advantageous
