We are looking for experienced Senior Java Application Developers to join our public sector team. As a Senior Java Software Developer, you'll use the latest tools and technologies available to deliver state-of-the-art software utilising the Java language – with particular focus on front-end applications and the use of Spring Frameworks, Hibernate, JSP etc. You will be responsible for ensuring that company software components are expertly designed, developed, tested, debugged, verified, and ready for integration into the business’s best-of-breed solutions that help organizations improve their business outcomes in the global marketplace. You may also be involved in software support. You may be required to design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. You will be a self-starter, have good listening skills, probe for answers, demonstrate your understanding, and draw upon your experience. You should be able to demonstrate how you take creative approaches to problem solving, innovation and issue resolution. For this role it is required that you hold a Full, DV Security Clearance.
You must be compliant with the two rules below in order to be eligible for such a clearance: -Must have been ordinarily and continuously resident in the UK for the past 10 years -Must be a British National
· Bachelor's Degree
· Full lifecycle project experience as Java Software developer including design, development, test and implementation : Mastered
· Around 4+ years’ experience
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and wr : Applied
· • Excellent teamworking skills : Acquired
· English: Fluent
· Experience in /with Agile and DevOps methods and tools : Applied
