Job Description:
The defence business is looking for a Solution Architect with a minimum of 10 years' experience to work on a range of Electronic Warfare related roles- supporting business development and project delivery.


  • Conduct a wide range of solution architecture activities in line with business development and client delivery requirements.
  • Support the pre-sales, bidding and proposition development within the Defence Community
  • Technical team leading of IT integration activities
  • Provide the technical lead for a variety of consultancy and delivery projects and bids within the Electronic Warfare domain.

Write and review Electronic Warfare related technical reports and studies, this will include documenting the result of analysis / consultancy work conducted by others.

 Mandatory requirements:

  • Electronic Warfare (EW) technical systems engineering experience within commercial industry
  • Electronic Warfare (EW) delivery- technical leadership of commercial industry delivery teams
  • Experience of working with the Joint Electronic Warfare Operational Support Centre (JEWOSC)
  • Strong understanding of Electronic Warfare Operational Support (EWOS) and Defensive Aid Suites (DAS)
  • Good understanding of Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) systems
  • Database technologies and wider hardware & software IT systems integration experience
  • Strong understanding of MOD C4ISTAR environment
  • Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture and modelling frameworks such as MODAF / TOGAF/ UML

Desirable requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills / Problem solving within IT integration environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work in an environment where requirements change often and quickly

 Security Clearance: Security Cleared (SC) or SC clearable or higher clearance
