Enterprise architecture is the design and delivery of an effective technology strategy. Concerned with the consolidation and centralisation of technology resources, enterprise architecture is about working out how a business can most effectively achieve its current and future objectives.
There are five architecture domains that we currently recruit for as subsets of enterprise architecture:
Ensuring business strategy is translated into business outcomes through IT solutions, IT and enterprise architecture professionals take an enterprise wide view of an organisation. Overseeing the design of competitive processes and structures, enterprise architects are often involved throughout the entire life cycle.
Across various disciplines, enterprise architects devise and communicate data centric solutions – managing deliverables and utilising their understanding of the way in which systems applications and requirements work together. As those responsible for formulating an overall design for a technical solution and then working with various technical and business disciplines to ensure successful delivery, enterprise architects possess excellent analytic and problem solving skills.
Able to apply architectural principles to business solutions, assimilating and correlating the relevant information, enterprise architects have strong technical skills; paired with a high level of business acumen.

Those who work in enterprise architecture need to be confident communicators – able to build relationships with stakeholders in order to clarify business requirements. Working within cross discipline teams, planning and designing enterprise systems and packages, and providing advice on development, IT and enterprise architects are able to balance architectural concerns with the concerns of the enterprise as a whole.
Enterprise architecture jobs are best suited for those who understand business, data, application and technology architecture in a holistic sense, in addition to having a firm grasp on the fundamentals. An understanding of how quickly businesses need to adapt is invaluable – enterprise architects must be equipped to design an architecture that changes just as quickly.
We recruit for a variety of security cleared enterprise architecture roles, all of which require SC or DV level clearance. We are always interested in speaking with talented enterprise professionals seeking their next role – especially as demand continues to grow.
For those with the right levels of experience and the necessary qualifications, enterprise architecture roles offer a multi-faceted and often uniquely challenging career path. For more information about the roles we are currently recruiting for, please search the jobs listed on this page.
