You must have a 2.1 or above and security clearance As a Tester in the Automation Testing team you will be responsible for testing of my clients terminal products accessories. The role as Tester is a highly demanding role and requires experience across the full development life cycle. You will be responsible for running existing automated scripts, writing new scripts to extend automated coverage, contributing at specification level for 'design for test' approach as well as reporting results and progress of the testing process. To be considered for the role as Senior Tester you have experience in Automated Testing and general structured testing. You will have the ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team. It is also important that you be SC cleared, or have the ability to achieve such clearance. Technically you will have the ability to develop new test scripts using Java, C++ etc tool chains. You will also have a working knowledge of digital communications standards or other mobile telecoms standards. It is also important for you to have experience of testing embedded communications software and a strong track record of problem solving surrounding digital communications. The ideal candidate will also have extensive automated testing experience; generating improvements, debugging test scripts, produce new and change existing automated scripts from specifications set as well as a strong embedded software testing background.
