Due to rapid expansion my client is currently looking to hire Software Engineers to expand their design teams. The client’s Electronic Systems Group provides the capability to design, build, install, and support world-leading technology. They develop hardware and software solutions to specific business and operational requirements. The client’s systems meet strenuous performance criteria and are characterised by innovative design frequently involving the latest FPGA technology for high speed data and signal processing. Requirements In addition to a solid academic background my client is interested in candidates with significant experience in several of the following areas: • C, C++ preferably in and embedded and/or real-time context; • Java, SQL, and Web development; • IP based communications protocols and networks; • Encryption and security; • E-mail protocols/applications, HTTP; • Telecommunications; • Defence Systems Engineering; • Development and execution of test plans and procedures; • Development of innovative solutions and technical 'white-papers' and accompanying commercial proposals; • Project and programme management; • Team leading and mentoring; • Customer-facing delivery and business development.
