Requirements In addition to a solid academic background we are interested in candidates with significant experience in several of the following areas: • Digital electronics ranging from micropower to ultra-high speed; • VHDL development (eg multi-million gate FPGA solutions); • Analogue electronics including RF and audio design; • Digital Signal Processing; • Communication Systems Engineering; • Defence Systems Engineering; • Embedded Software Engineering (C/C++) or application software (C++); • IP based communications protocols and networks, telecommunications equipment; • Development of innovative solutions and technical 'white-papers' and accompanying commercial proposals; • Project and programme management; • Team leadership and mentoring; • Customer-facing delivery and business development.
